What a great day on the water, couldn't ask for more action! Summer in Crystal River, FL brought us some fantastic conditions for our morning trip with Morris Aquatic Charters. Tracey and their crew joined me for a 5-hour adventure, setting out at the crack of dawn. The weather cooperated beautifully, with partly cloudy skies providing just the right mix of sun and shade. We launched into the Southwest Florida Water Management District waters, ready for whatever the day might bring with Morris Aquatic Charters.

Once the stage was set, we dove right into the action. Crystal River's flats offered the perfect playground for our techniques. We focused on flats fishing and sight fishing, keeping our eyes peeled for any movement in the clear shallows. The partly cloudy conditions actually worked in our favor, reducing glare and making it easier to spot potential targets. We also tried our hand at live bait fishing, which is always a solid choice in these waters. While we didn't land any trophies this time around, the thrill of the hunt and the skills we honed made for an unforgettable experience.
